Hello Lovely Humans,

Welcome to part two of our four-part series!

You are not inconsistent. Your body follows a cyclical pattern. And when you understand that everything changes.

The week after your period ends?

That quiet surge of clarity, motivation and “I want to get my life together”?

That’s not random. It’s your follicular phase. Your Monthly Rebirth Window.

Estrogen begins to rise. Energy returns. Your brain sharpens. Your confidence expands.

This is your momentum phase. Not hustle. Not burnout.  But intentional expansion.

Let’s use it properly.

What’s happening behind the scenes?

During the follicular phase:

  • Estrogen increases (hello glow, better mood, mental clarity)

  • Insulin sensitivity improves (your body uses carbs more efficiently)

  • Recovery from workouts is stronger

  • Social confidence rises

This is why you suddenly feel like reorganizing your house, starting a new routine or mapping out your five-year plan.

Your hormones are supporting you.

So instead of ignoring that wave; we move with it.

The Self-Care Chronicles Follicular Glow-up Routine

  1. Nourish to Build (Not Restrict)

This is not the week to under-eat. It’s the week to fuel performance.

Think:

  • Lean protein

  • Complex carbs

  • Leafy greens

  • Olive oil

  • Gut-supporting variety

If you practice 16:8 fasting, break your fast intentionally:

(Stay tuned for upcoming editions of our newsletter, where we’ll share more practical tips to help you get the most out of your fasting routine)

  • Scrambled eggs with sautéed greens

  • Salmon and quinoa bowls

  • Roasted vegetables with tahini

This is your “build muscle, build metabolism, build strength” window.

Eat like you respect your future self.

  1. Train With Intention

Your body can handle more intensity here.

Add:

  • Strength training

  • Progressive overload

  • Longer walks

  • Resistance Pilates

  • Trying something new

This is when you increase reps. Increase weight. Start the routine you’ve been putting off. You’ll recover better now than any other phase.

  1. Beauty & Visibility

Estrogen supports collagen and hydration.

Use this time to:

  • Gently exfoliate

  • Add vitamin C in the morning

  • Take photos

  • Film content

  • Schedule meetings

  • Network

You naturally communicate more confidently in this phase. Be seen. Take up space. Share your voice.

  1. Career & Wealth Moves

This is your strategic window.

Use it to:

  • Batch content

  • Map business strategy

  • Review finances

  • Plan investments

  • Have bold conversations

  • Apply for opportunities

If you’re building wealth while working corporate — this is when you make calculated moves. You’re clearer. Faster. More decisive. Leverage it!

  1. Protect the Energy

Just because you feel powerful doesn’t mean you should overcommit. Stay soft.

Add:

  • Morning sunlight

  • Deep breathing before workouts

  • One focused priority per day

  • A journal prompt: “What am I building this month?”

Power without regulation turns into burnout. We don’t do burnout here!

The Reframe

Your cycle is not a weakness. It’s a strategy. When you understand your rhythm, you stop fighting yourself. You stop calling yourself lazy. You stop starting over every month.

Instead, you build in waves.

That’s intelligence. That’s discipline. That’s feminine power.

And that’s how we create a soft, wealthy life sustainably.
